Welcome to the PrizePicks Play of the Day. If you are new to PrizePicks, it is a simple game where you choose the over or under on multiple picks (between 2 and 5). Different payouts are available depending on the style of the play and how many picks you to do in each play. You can do a “power play,” where each pick needs to be correct in order for the play to win, or you can do a “flex play,” giving yourself some flexibility and still having the opportunity to make money if one of the picks in your play miss.

If you are a new user, get off to a great start by using code ‘FTN’ to get a 100% match up to $100. For example, if you deposit $50, PrizePicks will give you a free $50. Can’t beat that. Now, let’s get to the picks for Thursday.

MLB PrizePicks Plays Thursday 6/30

Aaron Nola Over 7.5 K’s

It’s a big number here for Aaron Nola, but we know he is more than capable of reaching this mark as he is coming off of a 10-K performance. Nola is striking out nearly 30% of hitters this season, and now gets a matchup against the Braves who have a projected lineup with 8 of 9 hitters striking out 22% or more against RHPs this year.

Logan Gilbert Over 6 K’s

Great matchup for Logan Gilbert against the A’s, who have just two hitters in their projected lineup with an ISO over .150 against RHPs, but six with a K% of 24% or higher. They also have eight of nine projected starters with wOBAs below .280, showing just how brutal this lineup is. Gilbert has a 25% K% on the year and has struck out at least 6 hitters in four of his last five starts.

Yusei Kikuchi Under 4.5 K’s

Yusei Kikuchi’s strikeout upside is not bad, but this Tampa projected lineup does not strike out a whole lot, as they have just two hitters with a K% of 17% or higher against LHPs this year. Kikuchi has also really struggled with power, as he is getting barreled 12.5% of the time, so I would not be surprised to see a short performance here for the southpaw.

Find More MLB Player Props on PrizePicks

Player props have become one of the hottest markets in baseball, and PrizePicks offers the perfect balance for daily fantasy players to get in on the MLB player prop action for real money.

Users can select up to five props to combine into a parlay and users can select whether they want the selection to be a “power play” or a “flex play.”

A “power play” means all selections in the PrizePicks pick need to hit and there is a multiplier for the number of events involved. Here’s the “power play” breakdown:

  • Pick 2, and if you get them both right, you win 3x your entry fee
  • Pick 3, and if you get them all right win 5x your entry fee
  • Pick 4, and if you get them all right win 10x your entry fee

Here’s the “flex play” breakdown:

  • Pick 5 players: Go 5-of-5 to win 10x, go 4-of-5 to win 2x, or go 3-of-5 to win 0.4x
  • Pick 4 players: Go 4-of-4 to win 5x, go 3-of-4 to win 1.5x
  • Pick 3 players: Go 3-of-3 to win 2.25x, go 2-of-3 to win 1.25x
  • Pick 2 players: Go 2-of-2 to win 2x, go 1-of-2 to win 0.5x

In MLB, PrizePicks offers props like NRFI/YRFI, fantasy score, hits/RBIs, strikeouts, pitching outs, and more. This wide variety of different prop markets makes PrizePicks exciting and also exploitable.

Keep in mind that PrizePicks is not like a traditional sportsbook that has different pricing for each prop. On PrizePicks, the line you see is the line you get, and you must parlay at least two picks to lock in your fantasy plays.
