NFL DFS Showdown Strategy: General Rules to Building Optimal Lineups

This article is a breakdown of the rules I generally use in the FTN NFL DFS Optimizer for DraftKings and FanDuel NFL showdown slates. Showdowns have been my best contests the past years because I have what I believe to be a unique system of how I approach each slate. 

I don’t think that just having access to an optimizer is a guarantee to making big bucks. You also have to know how to use it, which is what I dive into below. 

When looking at salaries and team scheme it might make sense to change these rules from time to time, but that will be addressed in my SNF, MNF and TNF breakdown articles.
