Thanksgiving is hands-down my favorite holiday. There's nothing I like more than stuffing my face and playing NFL DFS. I'm sure I'm not alone with this feeling; the Thanksgiving slate is the most popular one and almost always fills early.

With just three games, the potential edge is significantly decreased. You just can't find those sub-5% rostered players that break a slate and can really catapult your lineup to the top. So I always play a lot less on Thanksgiving dollar-wise than I do a typical week.

My general strategy for Thanksgiving is to focus on a couple of slightly less popular players to get heavy exposure on and consider a fade of a popular player that I think might bust. Here are some ideas I'm trying this year:
