This article will cover my NBA GPP plays for the day. I rely heavily on matchups, pace of play and minutes on the floor. This combination has been successful for me over the years.

It is extremely important to keep up with the NBA news up until lock. If you are new to NBA DFS, news can come out right before each individual game starts. Be sure to check the FTN Discord throughout the night or keep up with the news yourself on Twitter.

If you want to make multiple teams fast, be sure to utilize the FTN Optimizer that includes projections updated up until lock.

We have a six-game slate on Sunday’s docket. Like always with the NBA, you are going to want to pay close attention up until lock for who is starting and if we can get confirmed minutes from the coaches regarding bench players before lock.

Guards

Tyler Herro/Kyle Lowry, Miami Heat
Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks
Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors
Jrue Holiday, Milwaukee Bucks

With Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo out again, we need one of Kyle Lowry or Tyler Herro in any lineup. The usage is open for the Heat, and you need one of these two guys. My preference is Herro with the season he’s had, especially after struggling Friday. It was Lowry day Friday, so Saturday should go Herro’s way. With such a small slate, I feel one of Luka Doncic or Stephen Curry is needed as a spend up. They cost a lot and with good reason. If Kristaps Porzingis is out again, I’ll go back to Luka after he let us down Friday. With Jrue Holiday, it’s easy for me as Giannis Antetokounmpo is likely out.

Forwards

Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks
Dillon Brooks/Jaren Jackson, Memphis Grizzlies

I mentioned above about Giannis being out and wanting Jrue Holiday, but I also want Khris Middleton. With the Heat taking a hit defensively and no Giannis, I’m comfortable going both Middleton and Holiday. I don’t mind going Bobby Portis over Middleton, but my preference is Middleton.

We once again see a depleted Memphis team with usage open across the board. My preference is the spend-up with Jaren Jackson or Dillon Brooks, with the lean to Brooks. I don’t mind either or, but you need one of them in this matchup.

Centers

Dewayne Dedmon, Miami Heat

I find it tough not playing Dewayne Dedmon as Bam Adebayo will be out for the foreseeable future. Given the value we might need on the slate, I love going back to Dedmon after the letdown Friday and price drop Saturday.
